Hungry? China #2

Hungry? China #2

I’ll be honest, our traveling companions were into ordering anything and everything that they’d never tried before. That actually works for me but trying something like sea anemone reminded me of drinking sea water. I don’t like to drink sea water so why would I eat something that tastes like it. I tried most of the stuff we had and we had a lot of food that was really good (being vegetarians did limit things). But there is a limit and when I reached it… well, I reached it. For example, no bugs. Over the 18 day trip there were lots of opportunities to chow down on delicacies that we wouldn’t normally have access to. This is only a few of the choices we were given access to.

And now for my favorite. The robots that we saw in every hotel. You call or order off the website, the order is brought to the lobby. They put your order in one of these robots and all is brought to your door. Amazing. Why don’t we do this in the US? Maybe we do???

My last post for this section is the Hot Pot. There are many different type of Hot Pot restaurants where you cook your own food. This one was in Beijing, but every city has their own.

Did I miss the pictures of the bullet train? I enjoyed the pics and narrative.

Not done with the site. I’ll look for a bullet train pic (I don’t have many, maybe two) and will post it.

The robots are cute but Robin is wayyyyy better at delivering food. And much nicer to look at.

You are right, but does she sing? If you saw the video I posted you may be able to hear the robot playing some music. It’s very faint.
